In Kim Fogarty’s almost twenty years with Fessenden’s Lower School, she has been a classroom teacher, a specialist in computers and science, and she has taught numerous extra-curricular programs during vacations and after school. As a result of this, she has a deep understanding of classroom curriculum, the demands of specialist and classroom teachers, and student capabilities in academic and non-academic settings. She brings these knowledges to her role as an academic technology advocate, where she designs projects that are uniquely tailored to the needs of both teachers and students. Kim is a winner of the H. Joachim von der Goltz Prize for excellence in teaching.

We are especially excited to have Kim join us at Park School due to her energy, enthusiasm, and the passion she brings to her work.  The number of student visitors to the Shire has noticeably increased as students want to see what the “robot lady” is up to.  Kim recently obtained her certificate in engineering in education from the Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach.  She has so many wonderful ideas and projects to share with the Park community!
